I try to cater my lessons to the individual needs and desire of my students and try to asses the level of knowledge and provide feedback and advice as to how to best move forward. I usually work with Mel Bay or Hal Leonard books and try to provide them with a general broad base forms of musical exercises designed to assist the student gain proper technique and become proficient in the his or her instrument of choice. I recently completed my Master's in Voice Performance at Florida State University. I have aspirations to become a Professor of Voice as well as an avid performer. In 2014 I graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Music in Musical Arts. I am qualified to teach private voice lessons, as well as group classes, due to my degree and my musical background. In my teaching method the goal is to combine high level of technique with musicality and individual interpretation.
