I believe that it is the teacher duty not only to impart the wisdom expected of them, but to also guide the students in their academic endeavors. While I understand that each and every student is unique in their learning and progress, I will always strive to push my students forward and sometimes out of their comfort zones as to be better performers, better musicians, and better people. That being said, although I'm strict with the work assigned of my students, I'll always be lenient in terms of understanding that there is never one single way of learning something. Read More

My passion, discipline and determination to be professional at all costs helped me to graduate from BIT, and Pasadena Music Academy, and immerse myself into the music scene as a gifted multi instrumentalist concentrating on bass. I can sight read, play by ear, arrange music, and play any style or genre. I have toured with international artists who have inspired me to continue performing throughout my life. Read More

In voice lessons, I start with the Bel Cantor style of teaching and once the fundamentals of singing have been achieved, its time to learn how to break the rules and maintain a healthy singing voice. Intermediate students will focus on music theory and learning to play from a chord chart if theyre leaning toward a more contemporary style of playing. Read More

I love for each student to leave their lesson excited about the music they create! I am an encouraging teacher, but I help my students set realistic goals (and stretch goals!) that keep them motivated to progress in their musicianship. How our lessons progress really depends on the student in question. If they would like to pursue competitions, I am well equipped to help. If they choose to develop their skills in a lower stakes environment without any competitions, that's also completely fine. Read More

For piano I prefer Faber Piano Adventures and have different books I would recommend starting with depending on the students age and experience. For guitar and ukulele I prefer using the Hal Leonard method books. I often supplement these method books with outside sources and pieces as is appropriate for the student. For singing students, I have a wide variety of books and resources depending on the musical style. I come from a classical voice background, so when students are middle school age and older (sometimes earlier) we begin learning Italian Art songs in addition to musical theater pieces and English folk songs.
