I love kids and music and decided to combine the two. Piano lessons from fourth grade through high school furthered my love for instruments. I played flute and piccolo through high school and then graduated with my Bachelors of Instrumental Music Education from Troy in 2005. For piano, I use Faber instructional books for piano. I teach music theory which include but not limited to scales, rhythm, etc. I give instruction on music vocabulary and literature. Furthermore, students learn some music history which includes the different eras and composers. Also, I teach vocal pedagogy which includes but not limited to breathing and phonation. I have been working out of my record studio since 2013 but I have been recording since 2004. I have also served as the assistant band director at midfield high. Giving rudimentary lessons to the drummers and working on the theory and range with the upper brass was one of the many jobs that I was assigned to as assistant director.
