I'm a young teacher who loves working with students and instilling my passion of music in them. I have been involved in music since the age of 5, and received my Bachelors of Music Education degree from Western Carolina University in 2018. For beginner students who are adults, I tend to begin with Alfreds Basic Adult All in One Course. It is a wonderful book that teaches beginning theory and piano concepts at the perfect pace for adult students. As we progress through the book together, I begin to give pieces such as Clementis Sonatina in C (first movement). We start at a slower tempo and work each hand individually until the student is comfortable to try both hands. Read More

I sung in the church and at other events throughout my childhood and then graduated high school and went to the University of Mount Olive College, During that time I worked with choirs and with voice students. I have a minor in music Composition from The University of Colorado, as well as an associate degree in music production from Marymount Manhattan College, and I have technical performance training on guitar, piano, and vocals from The New York Conservatory of Music.
