Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

For beginner students, we start off using the beginning books from "Piano Adventures" by Faber Faber, and published by Hal Leonard. They learn to read music, improvise, music theory, and play all style of music. A typical lesson for an elementary school student would be 10 min of playing assigned pieces that they've practiced for the week, 10 min of new songs for the next week, 5 min of music theory, and 5 min of some sort of musical game. For beginners I want to break down how the voice really works. Not everyone is taught how the vibrations in our throat and body impact how we hear from each other. Once we learn the human body I jump right into vocal exercises that show the vowel differences and easiest ways to sing notes that we all used to think were too high or too low.
