I have been teaching students of all ages since 2010. I have been teaching both in my home studio and at the students home, I have also taught in Public Schools and in Music stores. My goal as a teacher is to get students excited about music and have them looking forward to our lessons together and inspire them to learn more and practice. It may not always be "fun" (though, it should be most of the time), but it should always feel rewarding. Students come with varying abilities, talents, and goals. I keep track each week in a notebook of what their assignments are. I use many different books, learning by ear, learning by youtube, learning by rout, and I have developed my own music writing technique which decodes any song at any level to a much easier level because all students are unique, and deserve to have a teacher who can reach them. I have been teaching private lessons since 2006 and love doing so. I volunteered at my arts high school for 2 years helping with all of the Jazz Band, AP Music Theory, and private instruction in multiple instruments. In 2009 I graduated from Cooperative Arts & Humanities Magnet High School focusing in Music.
