I strive to create a relaxing and safe environment for students of all levels. I understand that everyone is different, so naturally all of my lessons will be different to each individual student. My teaching style will typically vary when considering factors like skill level and goals/interests. For beginner students, I will typically introduce them to new concepts and pieces of music to see what interests them. My next job was in the South Brunswick public school district where I taught elementary strings and band, as well as some general music classes. Upon leaving the public school system, I shifted my focus to teaching private individual lessons. Although I enjoyed working in the public schools, this was the best decision I ever made! I try to keep each student's progress at their own pace by setting and keeping realistic goals for my students at their lessons.
