I always interview each student to find out their interests and desires and and build a custom curriculum eight lessons at a time to insure satisfaction and success on the students terms. The practice routine is a set of 3-5 exercises taken from my library music books that will each touch on an area or skill that the student needs to work on. I often made teaching materials myself, as well as writing music for my students. The most important thing for beginners are keeping interest and correct postures.
