I started playing the flute before 6th grade and instantly fell in love with the flute and with music. Inspired by the wonderful music teachers I had over the years, I strive to provide that same level of care, knowledge, fun, and passion for music to all of my students. In 2011, I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance. I first started music at a young age through my local church; my first instrument being flute. I studied flute for many years before taking formal voice lessons. This led me to become a voice performance major at the Manhattan School of Music, where I sang lead roles in and outside of the school. In addition, I continued my flute studies as well as strengthen my piano skills. I've had the opportunity to perform at the Kimmel Center as soloist and chorister, Symphonic Space (NYC), as well as abroad in Italy and France. Read More
