My lessons are very energetic and fast paced, I normally prefer if parents are present in lesson taking notes, and when possible, I even teach the parents before I teach the students, so we have a consistent learning environment at home as well. At the beginning, students will be handed easy lessons learning how to gain control of the sticks and their hands. Withing 2-3 lessons, a book will be introduced and weekly homework will be given. My teaching style is relaxed. I don't want to have a student stressed out about learning. I will give weekly homework that I will expect students to work on .
