I like to use the Suzuki books as a basis solely for musical progression, but technical set up is catered to differently for each student. I always start my students off with a warm-up consisting of scales or a technical exercise that relates to the piece that we are working on. My brothers and I attended weekly lessons at the school and music was part of our home life. I quickly developed a passion for music and became a more serious student in my pre-teen years.
