I am a driven and passionate instructor who focuses on students' artistic and personal growth as musicians. I began my musical journey as a singer, moving towards piano and guitar throughout my formative years. In high school, I performed as a choral singer, musical theatre artist, and as a pianist for both jazz groups and worship settings. I have most recently had the opportunity to teach a college course at CalArts, private lessons to college level students at the institute, and group voice classes to K-3rd graders through the Community Arts Partnership. Growing up with multiple educators in my family has had a huge impact on my life as a volunteer in classrooms.  My volunteer experience began when I was in fifth grade, and has continued throughout all of my education experience at Concordia.  As I kept growing into a stronger individual, I discovered that the age group I wanted to work with also grew older with me.  Working in multiple classrooms throughout my life has only strengthened my resolve to be a teacher because of the communities I have discovered through volunteering. Ever since a child, I've loved learning, music and sharing my passions! Through grade school I grew into the role of a leader and a musical/visual artist. In 2018 I graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelors in K-12 Music Education with a minor in Spanish.
