I like to keep things simple. I focus on breathing and diction exercises and I like to discuss with my students about their performance. My style is very friendly and open and I will push my students to succeed. Singing comes down to muscle memory and each session with me is a mix of working out the mind and vocal muscles. Good fundamentals fix a lot of problems :) At one point, all my students (who have the self-awareness to do so) will stop themselves and correct any vocal mistakes made during practice without my input. I begin with students by asking their goals. Once I have a clear understanding of what results the student is looking for, I can then find ways to help them in achieving these goals. For instance, I always work with the student on warm-ups at the beginning of each lesson.
