My teaching style varies greatly depending on the student. I adapt to each student in order to find the most effective way to both inspire a passion for the music, and to help a student advance in the most effective way possible. I am a committed educator, passionate about sharing the cello with anyone and everyone who wants to learn! I received my Bachelors of Music in Cello Performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester New York in 2015. After graduating, I moved to Chicago Illinois, where I have enjoyed an active teaching, performing, recording and touring schedule. In addition to my classical pursuits, I am an avid fan of cross-genre collaborations and have performed, recorded and toured with a variety of Chicago-area bands, some of which include: Rebecca Rego and the Trainmen, Poor Calvin, Fuzzy Poser, Audrey Q, Brian McGrath and The Phantom Broadcast. For the past 20 years, I've studied and performed with keyboards, guitars and woodwind instruments while exploring a very wide variety of music ranging from classical and rock to jazz and avant-garde.
