The method books for Younger students typically consists of 3 or more levels depending on their skill, while the method books for older students provide a good outline of the technique for the instrument. In 1984 I was a music instructor for the Canadian Forces School of Music in Esquimalt British Columbia. Over the last three decades I have taught one-on-one lessons and ensembles at all levels including Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. I have brought many students from complete beginners all the way up to concierto level playing. I have played for and with many very successful bands over the years including Chelsea Wolfe, No Age, Saint Motel, Tes Elations.
