If I have a student who is struggling with fundamentals, then we will focus on fundamentals. If I have a student who is struggling with articulations, then we will focus on articulations in lessons. I have taught every semester I have been in college thanks to being a part of the Musicianship and Advancing Pedagogy--MAP--Program in the College of Musical Arts. Additionally, Solo repertoire from my extensive collection of music will be assigned. For students interested in auditioning for youth orchestras or bands and competing in competitions , lessons will be committed to audition preparation and technical development through scales and arpeggios.
