I believe it is very important for the student to understand how these aspects of playing coincide with each other, and how they are equally essential to music playing. This will allow stick control and muscle memory to begin developing. As the beginner becomes more of a novice, I will introduce simple and repetitive songs and go over them as whole pieces.
