I'm currently wrting a percussion book for kids.I'm a devoted musician who loves to teach, taking pride in all of the personal relationships I've garnished from my fruitful career! It all began when I started playing drums at a young age in my father's music store here in Virginia. Since then, I've traveled the country gigging, touring, and recording with bands such as, "Blue Meridian", and "Vishuda". At the beginning, students will be handed easy lessons learning how to gain control of the sticks and their hands. Withing 2-3 lessons, a book will be introduced and weekly homework will be given. My teaching style is relaxed. I don't want to have a student stressed out about learning. I will give weekly homework that I will expect students to work on . If a student feels over loaded, I am willing to adjust the amount of homework they receive. Read More
