I favor many of the Berklee press books for music theory, voice, keyboards, genre studies, guitar, bass, composition, ear training, harmony and arranging. As a flutist trained with teachers in jazz, classical, and pop, I am experienced playing and teaching many styles including classical, opera, swing, pop, and musicals. Liz started playing the flute at the age of six. At a very early age she started formal musical training in her native home town of San Juan Puerto Rico and quickly developed great appreciation for music and arts. She was accepted in an arts specialized school where she was constantly exposed to private lessons, large ensembles and chamber music. Upon finishing this program, she was accepted in the Conservatory of Music in Puerto Rico where she earned her Bachelors Degree in flute performance. Read More
