My first experience teaching someone was when I was younger in my high school days, I was teaching my 7 year old nephew how to play ukulele which was an arduous task indeed. But through said trails and tribulations we managed to accomplish our goals together. For beginning students, I use the Trevor Wye beginning books and supplement with solos, etudes, songs and exercises that I give them which are appropriate for their level. For more advanced students, I will use etudes and methods/ solos which are appropriate for their level. For adults, I will find their interests and select a course of study with them.  With all students, I will assist with their school music or any ensemble/ solo music they wish.
