My teaching style allows the child to have fun while they learn their instrument, but I emphasize a strong practice regiment. My first experience teaching began in 2014 when I began working marching band camps as the flute tech. I was responsible for helping the students learn marching fundamentals and drill for the show, in addition to running music related sectionals with the flute section daily. I started teaching privately in the fall of 2017, teaching middle school and high school students. I use the software program "Finale" in order to create the musical compositions that I prepare for my students. I always accompany my students on the piano.
