I began teaching while working on my undergraduate degrees at CSU Northridge. I worked as an elementary school trumpet instructor. After graduating form CSUN I began teaching privately garnering much success with my students. For a time I worked as an orchestra conductor for the youth symphony west program running the advanced orchestra and intermediate string ensemble. Depending on the level of the student and instrument, I incorporate a mixture of theory, aural skills, technique, and repertoire. All of my piano students play Hannon exercises to build up their finger strength and dexterity as well as scales. Vocal students and guitar students likewise learn scales and exercises for the sake of technique. I play piano for dance classes and dance majors who study both modern dance and ballet.   I am a composer, songwriter, piano player, recording artist, and producer.  I have released over ten albums since the year 2000.  Two of the releases are with the Monroe Institute which makes Hemi-Sync music to balance brain wave patterns and assist with learning, focus, creativity, and ADD.  I have released electronic music under my own name, and pop music under the name Bloom.
