I began teaching when I was in High School, where I had several students of varying ages and skill levels.  I taught private lessons in their homes.  I encourage regular practice, and weekly lessons.  A mixture of method books and my own personal written lessons I have found to be the most effective teaching strategy. Books with a variety of popular solos I also utilize.  Method books are necessary for skill, but can get boring and repetitive for younger students.  Keeping things fresh and interesting is my main focus in teaching. After graduating from Temple University, in 2017 I performed at the North American Saxophone Alliance Conference at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA; the New England Saxophone Symposium at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst; as well as a solo and chamber music recital at Smith College in Northampton, MA. I have been teaching beginner students and children privately for the last 5 years. I have been freelancing as an organist, pianist, chorister and cantor all over Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts for the last 7 years. I particularly specialize in early music - from the Middle Ages through about 1780. I have particular love of early keyboards - clavichords and harpsichords, specifically.
