Once the student has progressed and has managed to grasp fundamentals, we can proceed to the next volumes within the same series. For adults, I typically do my best to see what they are interested, and will guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons intriguing. I supply all of the materials for my students. For beginners, I ask that they choose 5 songs they really want to learn to play. Through those songs, I can introduce many technical and musical concepts. It is very important that this is a positive musical experience. I have completed my two years of Suzuki Pedagogy training from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and I am a certificated cello teacher by the American Suzuki Association. I am doing my DMA cello performance degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). I have many experiences on teaching all kinds of students.
