The theory lessons provide a means to drill on the essentials by means of a work-book style in optional detached pages so that the teacher can take the papers and correct them before the next lesson. As we are in permanence and music is in transience, I focus on the permanence with the student; the technique, discipline, rhythm, so the student himself/herself has the tools to transcend the piano into music. Music has been a huge part of my life since birth. Both of my grandmothers were musicians, one a pianist, and the other an opera singer. My siblings and I all started learning an instrument at young ages, mine being flute. I later started learning guitar. Eventually I started performing and touring solo and with full bands and recording in professional recording studios.
