I have been playing drums for over 10 years and I am passionate about teaching and playing music. I have studied at Berklee College of Music and at Marian University in Indianapolis. In the Fall of 2008 I received the Fellowship Award from the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation. I have also spent time performing around the Indianapolis area, most notably at the Jazz Kitchen. In 1986, I graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a Bachelors of Music degree in cello performance. I have played professionally as a gigging cellist in chamber music ensembles and orchestras for many years. My goal is to help students grow so that they can play music in a personal and rewarding way, and develop the skills they need to play the songs that they love.
