I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2012, I graduated from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Therapy with a concentration in piano. In 2015, I graduated with my Master of Arts degree in Ritual Chant Song from the University of Limerick in Ireland. My private teaching experience began in high school, when I began accepting beginner clarinet students. I served as the clarinet section leader and then woodwind captain in my high school marching band, where I was responsible for conducting rehearsals and sectionals as well as teaching music to other woodwind students in grades 9-12. My music experience began in 5th grade when I started playing the Bassoon for the school orchestra. I then picked up Bass guitar and performed alongside the Pep band and the Jazz band and continued my practice with both all the way through college. After college I began making my own music and currently have 5 albums out between the numerous projects Ive involved myself with. My number one rule for teaching is patience and setting small goals each week. Every student should want to pick up the instrument days after the lesson. Seeing someone learn a song and playing it through correctly is a mini miracle. Progress through repetition and different exercises has been a high yield of success in my personal experiences.
