I began piano lessons at the age of 5, and organ lessons at age 10. I became the junior organist at Lagonda United Methodist Church at age 14, playing at the early service. By age 17, I became their principle organist and choir accompanist. Five years later, I also became the organist and choir director at Highlands United Church of Christ. For all ages and all instruments, you will be working on scales, chord progressions, transposition and reading of music for piano; scales, lip slurs, technical etudes, long tones, transposition and reading of music for trumpet; and scales, slurs, technical studies, transposition and reading of music for flute. For all instruments, there will be one key book that will cover everything you need to know. I have a passion for music. I started on the piano when I was seven years old and I've never looked back. After spending years in grade school, junior high and high school learning and performing in the band program on trumpet and euphonium, I moved on to play euphonium in The Most Exciting Band in the Land, the Ohio University Marching 110!
