I begin all students with the appropiate level of the Alfred's method. If they have had training with another method, I work to blend that method with the Alfred's method during the first month or two of lessons. The wonderful aspect of my former teachers were that they allowed more advanced students to teach students that were not as advanced therefore giving the more advanced student a chance to learn and develop skills of teaching. I took seven years of piano lessons in grade school and graduated from Florida State College with an Associate of Arts in Music degree.
