Hello and welcome, my name is Evan, and I am so happy that you chose to look at my profile. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Syracuse University in 1998. I minored in the Music Industry and performed with the Marching Band, Basketball Pep Band, co-founded a lacrosse band, and became a Brother of Kappa Kappa Psi, the National Honorary Band Fraternity. I received both a Masters and a Law Degree from Syracuse in 2002, but never stopped playing, and have been given the nickname of "The Human Jukebox" since I can recognize and perform nearly any song I have ever heard. I primarily teach the saxophone to younger students, and in this area I emphasize the fundamentals of tone production and the development of the musical imagination. My thinking here is simple: if you understand how the instrument works and you can imagine how something should sound, it takes only a matter of experimentation and diligence to achieve your goals.
