For students of all ages I focus on fundamentals by using, The Remington and Arbans books, but for beginners Hal Leonard's Essential Elements is a great start. The fundamentals are never mastered, and the Arbans and Remington methods, are time tested and proven methods for improving on Trombone. I also use the Arnold Jacob's method of Song and Wind. I have been playing the trombone for over 15 years, and I have been teaching private lessons on all brass instruments for more than 10 years. I grew up in North Carolina, and I did my undergraduate degree at The Boston Conservatory and my masters at Arizona State University in May 2014.
