I am a very dedicated and caring music teacher with 23 years of experience. I have taught students of all ages from early elementary school to senior citizens. All of my NYSSMA participating students have received scores of excellent or outstanding in Grades 1-4, and in the 90's on Levels 5 and 6. I consider myself to be an adaptable teacher. Every student learns in a different way, and this necessitates a need to adapt and find different ways to teach each student. I am a very firm believer in fundamentals; that is to say, every student needs a solid foundation before moving on to more complex ideas. We need to walk first before we can run!
