I am a creative and passionate musician who recently relocated to Washington, DC. I have performed nationally and internationally as a trumpet player and enjoy playing chamber, orchestral, and solo music. Before I lived in DC, I played and taught in Chicago, Denver, and Cleveland. I incorporate basic sightreading, scales, and musical literacy into this. For students with a bit of experience, I have an advanced version of this, which I usually pair with H.L. Clarke's "Techincal Studies for Trumpet/Cornet" and Vincent Cichowicz's "Flow Studies". Depending on the student's level of ability, I might also include parts of Arban's "Complete Conservatory Method for Trumpet" or Vacchiano's "Trumpet Routines". Eichelberger was selected for the College Band Directors National Association (CBDNA) Southeast Intercollegiate Honors Band in 2000 and 2002 being the first trombonist selected from the university in almost 10yrs. Mr. Eichelberger is also a former member of the U.S. Marines Basic Musician Enlistment Program where he studied at the Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk, Virginia. Mr. Eichelberger also holds a Bachelor of Music in Jaz Studies from Florida Memorial University (2011) and a Masters of Arts in Instrumental Conducting from Morgan State University (2020). Read More

Once a student has progressed through these books, I will normally progress to the book "Forty Progressive Etudes for Trumpet" as they get to an intermediate level and can handle starting to tackle longer and more difficult pieces.
