During the fall I also have been a low brass technician for a local marching band. Finally I have played in many pit performances for local high schools. I am always very patient with all my students. I never try to put too much work on the student and always believe you should have more then one chance to get it right. Music is not a test and their is no failing, there is only the end result, which ends when the student makes progress, no matter how long it takes.
