I strongly believe in a flexible manner of instruction, depending on the student’s particular characteristics and musical temperament. Thus, my approach to teaching is different for each student. Some students possess a more “mechanical” way of thinking, and are not naturally comfortable expressing themselves in public. I'm a freelance musician with over six years of teaching experience. A singer/songwriter from New York, I graduated from Vassar College in 2020 with a degree in music, and moved to New Orleans to pursue a career in music education. As a drummer, I keep a smooth shuffle currently for 3 different rhythm blues bands who perform around New Orleans' Frenchmen Street and other top venues. I've also clocked studio sessions on bass, keys, violin, and viola. Viola and Violin came into my life as an adult and committed myself for 5+ to conquering the difficult fundamentals of these rewarding instruments.
