One of my main goals as a teacher is to get to know my student, how they best learn, and what it is they love about music. My own love for music and particular bands/genres is what gave me the drive to keep practicing, and I bring this same approach to each of my lessons. I am a professional musical theater and drama actress and a singer. I also have vast experience working in the puppet theater, which requires a big work with your voice. I graduated my first theater school as an actress in my home country, Georgia, and immediately was accepted to the theater troupe. It was a Russian speaking drama and musical theater for kids and adult teens. I played in about 10 musical and drama shows during nine years, sang in several concerts. Read More

For beginners and young children, I generally demonstrate and have them practice breathing and certain terminology before we begin singing. Once we begin singing, I use the keyboard and have them practice matching pitch. We then do warm ups, and I teach them a couple phrases that will help with pronunciation and shaping their mouths to make certain sounds.
