Hi! My name is Megan, and I have a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance and Choral Conducting from Andrews University. Before that, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Voice Performance from Southern Adventist University. Performing has been a joy of mine, and I've had the opportunity to perform with some amazing groups, such as Andrews University Singers and Southern Adventist University's I Cantori. I began teaching five years ago with a diverse studio that covered everything from musical theatre to hip hop. I currently teach at a music studio here in Jacksonville, where I have a large studio of private students as well as group music classes for elementary and preschool aged children. I emphasize exploration and curiosity and encourage my students to explore multiple genres of music. Music is my passion, the guitar is my instrument. I taught myself through books, videos, mentors, loop pedals, HOURS and HOURS of practice, and 8+ years of live performance and improvisation throughout the 12+ years of being a guitarist.
