I have taught guitar throughout my career, working with beginners through advanced students, teaching both finger-style and flatpick techniques as well as why the chords fit together (music theory). I like to teach lessons that move step-by-step, with each lesson building on the one before, so that the student can see the improvement as they move ahead. All of my voice and piano students learn basic theory under my tutelage through the Keith Snell piano theory series. When I teach my students, I typically begin them on classical training. I have performed roles in Postcard from Morocco and Orpheus in the Underworld with the SJSU Opera Theater. My solo works include the Fauré and Brahms Requiem, both with San Jose Staté University. In the summer of 2015, I appeared with the Symphony Silicon Valley in R.V. William’s Serenade to Music and in 2016 I performed Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass with the Ireland Limerick Sinfonia.
