In 2010, I graduated from the first degree granting Historically Black Institution, The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Vocal Performances and a minor in piano performance. Although I do try to establish goals for them, these goals are reasonable and attainable. It is important to me that they progress at their own pace and have fun as well. I have also performed the bass solo in Verdi’s Requiem. I am also a devoted lieder singer having performed Schubert’s Winterreise, Schumann’s Dichterliebe and Brahms’ Vier ernste Gesänge. My research interests include the application of motor learning strategies to the singing voice studio and vocal tract acoustics.
