I feel each of my students are unique. I love watching my students' level of musical understanding progress. I love seeing the dedication and determination begin to heighten as the lessons progress. Within each lesson I point out areas that need to be worked on as well as areas of improvement. Seeing one's progress is the most important element to me for my students. In 2010, I joined the faculty of the Bellevue School of Music, and last fall began teaching at the Gene Nastri Community School of the Arts in Mukilteo. I also conduct a church choir. I do make recommendations such as teaching out of a Hal Leonard instructions books (for beginners) and or CD's Play along CD's. , Chord Theories, voicing s and improvisational techniques for the intermediate students ( i.e. basic blues) if they choose to.
