I picked up bass in high school was awarded a full scholarship to play with the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra while majoring in music. By combining a students interest with essential fundamentals of music I have found that my previous students have advanced their playing whilst denjoying the experience. When passing on my love for music I like to play a piece of music to my students and try to convey why this music is important to me and I like to hear pieces that my students love so I can see where they are coming from.
