I currently teach out of my home studio and I have been a guitar teacher on electric guitar,acoustic and bass guitar for 29 years. I teach all styles, rock,blues,jazz,classical,funk,r and b,country and have taught all age groups from beginners to advanced. Performed and/or recorded almost any style of music ranging from Jazz with the Collin College big band, top combo, and University of North Texas forum ensembles, to Country with artists such as Kevin Deal and Jake Ward. Additionally, I have played bass at a number of churches around the DFW Metroplex some of which include Southlake Baptist, Creekwood United Methodist, Crossroads Bible Church, and First United Methodist McKinney. After that I received a bachelors degree in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas and then a masters degree in trumpet performance from the University of Texas at Arlington. I keep a busy schedule as a freelance musician and perform regularly with the Dallas Jazz Orchestra. I also do the occasional the tour with different groups.
