I grew up with classical music playing violin since the age of 4 and then changed instrument to saxophone at the age of 12. I studied jazz and saxophone at The Rhytmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen and The New School of Music in New York. I also play trumpet, guitar, bass, piano, drums, and more. One index card caught my attention in particular: "Looking for someone to teach my 15 year old son guitar, can pay $20.00 an hour." I took the card and raced home and called her.
