I have been teaching private lessons for the past 4 years to my college peers and younger family members. I feel the two most important aspects of teaching for both the student and the teacher are repitition and patience. As a teacher, I try to find many ways to explain one concept, so as to help people among all learning styles understand the lesson. I will also focus on what the students want to do with their new-found skills, and focus on creating a solid foundation to build their own musical "thumb print," or, "Personality." Read More

I have become the music monk meditating on scales and chord substitutions, finding my balance with light strings and heavy rhythms. Read More

For voice, I start off by finding the range of the individual and then teaching warmup techniques while building the individuals technique through finding a song and learning how to sing along. I have also worked as a band coach for youth groups, where I taught them cover songs, helped them write their own songs and prepared them for live performances. Whenever I've worked for a music school, I've always had to prepare students for recitals and concerts. Read More

I eventually earned a degree in Fine Arts and German language from the University of Texas at Austin. To this day, I use what I have learned to teach the future generations how to make beautiful music. Back in Texas I ran a private music studio where I would take on students in the San Antonio area. As I accumulated more and more students, I noticed most suffered from some sort of mental disability. Read More
