I have 5 years of teaching experience which started when I was in college. I taught for a Saturday morning program they have for middle and high school students. In that program, I taught private bass lessons as well as theory classes consisting of 30 students each. Privately, I have taught students ranging from 10 to 75 years old. My first goal for a student is to learn one of their favorite simple folk songs by ear, while also developing basic musical skills and instrumental technique. I believe that it is extremely important to begin developing a students aural abilities and creativity early on.
