I am a performer and educator based in Long Beach, CA. I received my Bachelor's of Music in Cello Performance at the Bob Cole Conservatory of 2021. I have been very passionate about teaching cello since I started in 2016. I have performed in several venues in Southern California as a soloist, as well as in orchestral and chamber ensembles. My favorite type of ensemble is cello ensemble, and I encourage all my students to get involved in cello ensemble playing or at least some type of chamber music. Read More

I always make a point of meeting the student where they are at their development and building on that. My teaching philosophy is based primarily upon aiding the student in self-expression. While fundamental technique and repertoire are of course crucial in the pairing cellist's development, the ultimate goal is to provide the student with the means to use the instrument to further their own musical interests. With that in mind, whatever the student wishes to ultimately learn how to play, in whatever style, my goal is to give them the foundation to accomplish that. Read More

For stringed instruments, I uses the Suzuki method for teaching the basic repertory of the instruments. This method is an ear training method in which the student plays by ear. It starts out very simple so students of all ages can learn and progress very quickly.
