As I have previously stated, I tailor my lessons to each individual student in order to maximize their learning potential. Yes, I do usually assign one piece that will be good for them to learn even if it is not their favorite song to play, but the rest of the time I make sure that it is music they are going to enjoy. If a student loves Disney songs, then you can bet that's going to be an assignment. Read More

I started my teaching carreer in 1994, teaching doublebass and bass guitar. Two years later I began offering guitar lessons. In 1998 I offered cello lessons. My passion for teaching has grown over the years, and brought me great pleasure helping beginner students gain skills, confidence, and a sense of pride and accomplishment in learning to successfully play a musical instrument. I been able to teac advanced bass students techniques that increased their playing skills and understanding of their instrument and music in general. My greatest pleasure was helping a young, nervous, shy, and self conscious young boy, and over time, with his efforts and my guidance, was able to apply and get accepted into music college. Read More

I started teaching privately in 2004, and have been doing so in either my own studio or in the studios of others ever since.. In 2013, I started contracting with the Anaheim City School District to teach string classes in their after-school music program. Since moving to Texas, I have started orchestra programs at two different schools in Dallas county, while continuing to build my own studio. Whether in a private or group setting, the joy on the students' face is the most powerful motivator and greatest reward I know of. Read More

I am funatic, a fun teacher who is fanatic about there instrument. The cello is the middle child between the bass and the violin and a lot like the middle child stereotypes I also think the cello doesn't get enough respect. The winning formula for me is respect for your teachers and respect for the instrument once I had that practice didn't feel like practice it felt like progress and I did all the way until I reached my goal of playing Carnegie Hall. Im a devoted music educator who cares about my students personal growth and development as musicians. In 2010 I graduated from Evangel University with a Bachelors of Music Education degree with a concentration in strings. I have performed all over the U.S. in my collegiate touring orchestra and even had the opportunity to go to Europe and perform there as well. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs. Read More
