In middle school, I began performing and teaching music during the summers at Vacation Bible School for children ages 3-10. Throughout high school, as a member of a variety of bands, I performed at a wide array of venues around New England. During this time, I ventured into song writing and musical arrangement. I also spent some time giving private trombone, bass, and guitar lessons in high school. What music do the students enjoy? What inspires them? Who are their musical influences? I have taught students to have developmental issues. I have taught gifted students. Education has been very important to me - not just my own, but that of others as well.
