For high school students the I use Rubank books and supplement that with Rose etudes as they are often use as audition material in KY. I'm very complimentary and positive during lessons; this helps the student be confident. I was in charge of weekly instruction for seven students, conducting both classical and commercial seminars, and leading Jazz Band and Small Group.
