I am a motivated instructor who enjoys teaching students of all ages. In 2007, I graduated from the Institute of Musical Studies (Venezuela), with a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance. I have developed my career as a soloist and also and as a member of various chamber music ensembles. For very young students who have never read music, I would begin with flute posture on a special Suzuki flute if the student is smaller framed. My teaching started in the final years of high-school. I started teaching trumpet to kids. Once I started college in Buenos Aires(Argentina) in a music composition degree I worked with several masters in a multitude of instruments(violin, flute, trumpet, guitar) which i was able to start teaching and performing live. At the same time I developed a craving for movement practice and martial arts. Such as their Hobbies, what kind of music they like, what attracts them to the flute , what kind of future career they are interested in taking and what they hope to achieve from taking lessons. From there I can cater my teaching style to fit their needs. I really take a look at what the student needs to learn and what the student wants to learn because I've seen a lot of students giving up because the institution or teacher is giving to much theory and very poor practice. I try to balance those responsibilities to a point that the student will always be learning something new as long as I work on their motivation and consistency of keeping up so they can learn how to play anything they like and want.
