During the time that I was working on my Masters Degree in Art Education at University of Florida, I also taught group classes in flute to adults at the Reitz Union. Then I worked as a substitute teacher and elementary art teacher for the School Board of Broward County from 1999-2007. Read More

When meeting a new student I like to take the time to know about them. Such as their Hobbies, what kind of music they like, what attracts them to the flute , what kind of future career they are interested in taking and what they hope to achieve from taking lessons. From there I can cater my teaching style to fit their needs. Each student learns at a different pace and I want to set goals each week for us to achieve as a team that are realistic and do my best to motivate my students to work hard to achieve them. Read More

Same year I started attending to Lyrical Singing Lessons with another very known composer and opera singer, Mario Rocha. I performed with both clinics in the capital city and many other cities around the country for years but I kept it persistent with Lyrical Singing. I received private lessons for guitar for around five to six years and then started giving them myself at the institution. Lyrical Singing helped me introduce myself in the opera world and had me performed on Opera Festivals every year as part of the choir and also with solo roles at the National Theater. Read More

My teaching started in the final years of high-school. I started teaching trumpet to kids. Once I started college in Buenos Aires(Argentina) in a music composition degree I worked with several masters in a multitude of instruments(violin, flute, trumpet, guitar) which i was able to start teaching and performing live. At the same time I developed a craving for movement practice and martial arts. This 'kinetic' approach allowed me to be much better with my students, analyzing their body and consequently their needs in regards to practice. Read More

I am a highly profesional, diverse, and easy to work with musician with an abundance of real-word experience that includes public gigging and private instruction. I graduated on a full scholarship from University of Miami in 2014, the most renowned music school in South Florida and one of the most progressive universities in the country. I've been fortunate enough to perform in many different places and play different styles of music such as the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Next Generation Jazz Festival in California. For beginner children, I like to use the Suzuki Method. For adults and intermediate to advanced children, I use a combination of books from different authors e.g. Taffanel Gaubert Flute Method, Marcel Moyse books, for technique development and also many pieces from the classical repertory. I also let the students choose pieces of any style that theyre interested in playing and they can handle. I have developed effective teaching techniques, which allows me to foster a fun and engaging learning environment. Read More
