I fell in love the first time I heard him play, and knew then that I would grow up to study music and perform. I began formal instruction in school at the age of 10, and quickly earned the top place in my beginners class. It all started when I took my first drum lesson in the 4th grade. From then on, I wanted to play whenever I could. I played in all my school bands from middle school to high school. Graduated Southern University, home of the world famous "Human Jukebox" which I was a member of for 3 years, as well as playing for my church since I was 13.
